I am a Skagit Valley College alumnus, Class of 2002 and respectfully Republican in the mold of Rudy Giuliani and Mt. Vernon Mayor Bud Norris. I believe feverently in accountability before money in re public education, that good citizenship means being there and that as they said on "The West Wing"... "decisions are made by those who show up". I am also loyal to and defensive of my alma mater, Skagit Valley College to the point of demanding excellence from the college upon a hill. Finally, I am a member of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation and damn proud of us for we are the upholders of the law when there are none, the reformers of public education for our future and the defenders of freedom for the folks "because freedom matters"!
