After today's outrage, I just don't know any more.  HERE is the Wikipedia entry on Communism or basically the governing by a small know-it-all board for the common good.

Why do I feel that way?  Try those five "Democrats" on the King County Council who think they know better and thrust a two-step, two-vote wrench into the democratic process of deciding whether or not King County should elect its elections director with a vote in 2007 to change the charter and if approved, 2008 again to change the charter to allow the people to vote in early 2009 for an elections director.

So I agree with Councilman Reagan Dunn, “While I am glad the Council acted quickly today to save taxpayers $110,000, we are sadly dragging out an already-overdue process.”  THIS Sound Politics Public post by I-25 author Toby Nixon is worth a read.  Much more civil than my response, too.
