Time Magazine BDS- Headline reads: Bush Motorcade kills code
What is ironic is that I heard another angle to this same story on the radio this morning. I'll tell you about that in a moment.
First though, LGF brings us Time Magazine and their latest headline:
TIME Magazine in Full BDS Mode
The TIME Magazine headline reads: Bush Motorcade Kills Cop.
So the evil neocons must have run over this poor cop with their gas-guzzling limousines, right?
Well, not exactly.
The 40-year-old Rio Rancho officer, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, crashed at the Albuquerque airport at a point where a road enters an underground parking garage, said Trish Hoffman, a spokeswoman for the Albuquerque Police Department.
Yes, the truth will indeed set you free. This is another example of the bias in the media, in a week that is rapidly filling up with them.
This headline is a serious slap in the face of what happened, and disrespectful of the officers family.
What is funny is on the morning show on KVI (570am) a caller complained that when Bush was here yesterday she was spurred to protest his appearance here east of Seattle, because they did not cancel the event in respect to the fallen officer. In her words, she also tried to influence the police officers guarding the lines with that concept.
She however betrayed herself as a Reichart/Bush hater with some of her later comments and labels.
I dunno. The fallen officer was doing his job in New Mexico, and that is where they need to mourn his loss. I would have thought it nice to maybe have a moment of silence, but why cancel an event that was probably planned out months in advance?
I don't feel cold in saying that going on with the fund raiser was the only thing to do, and exactly what Gore did in a similar situation here in Seattle years ago.
And frankly I think she didn't really care, it was just a convenient excuse to slam Bush and Reichert.
I wonder if she has a Darcy Burner bumper sticker on her car?
Regardless, LSU extends condolences to the wife and children left behind as an officer was killed in the line of duty.
