Must Read (02)

Not to criticize, but I can't believe neither this blog's great friend and the Northwest CNN/FOX Orbusmax nor Sound Politics have picked up on this great story about how the FBI used spyware to stop Josh Glazebrook from making further threats against Timberline High School in the North Thurston School District.  All glory to the FBI (on this one)!!

Apparently now when you are suspected of using the Internet to propagate illegal activity, the FBI can file a "search warrant" (that's called due process) to use a "computer and internet protocol address verifier" (CIPAV) to track you down.  This story has been propagating the 'net the past few days from this Wired.com story and I was somewhat hoping another NWBloggers.com member would pick up on this and give a better spin than I possibly could.  But with minutes left to keep this day from being totally blank, days here you go.
