The Left, Unhinged
Memorial Day 2007, Playin' Possum on Senator McCain calling for an accountable civil service: (I add bold)
McCain… We should have left him in Hanoi…
The idea civil service has no accountability is crap. What they have is a little security - which seems unusual in today's race to the bottom environment… What they deserve is solidarity…
Not that they will get it. The greedy believe that the wolves will get the others, not them. They're wrong. Everyone is going to be sold out to the globalists who would "equalize" us with the Chicoms and Indians for the sake of profits - the profits of the globalist pirates who would enslave the rest…
Not that their calculations will be any more prescient. When the millions of Joe Averages are reduced to an angry mass - they will fall upon "the winners" and kill them. The "winners" won't be able to win and the mobs won't be able to lose - because the mobs will have nothing to lose…
I'd like to hear the two functioning - as in effective - government bureaucracies from this chap who comes here and spouts his drivel. I know all of us at NWBloggers.com have our differences with Senator McCain, but I believe with the exception of PP certainly wouldn't want to wish any more torture on a genuine American hero who kept the faith. On a Memorial Day.
Then there's PP's response to LSU (again, I add bold to the worst):
Clinton and Obama voting no was merely staking out a position for 2008… Neither of them - Okay, perhaps Obama but certainly not Clinton - gives a rat’s ass about the troops, any more than does that murdering draft dodger sandbagged in the White House…
As for the rest, it’s corrupt to memorialize these reckless volunteers who are dying for nothing on a holiday established to memorialize people who died to save the Republic.
But then, it’s a corruption that so perfectly fits today’s America. Wars for greed, wars for revenge, wars for the consumer’s convenience. War as a policy replacing harder but wiser choices.
What we really need is a memorial for America the lost.
Playin' Possum then posts here among other things:
I'll give it another year and the returning Joes will be getting spit on… They should quit now and save the cleaning bills.
"They should quit now". Reads like… sedition to me. As far as Iraq, I'll let Betty Dawisha do the talking!!

Running out of originality? I ought to re-post the entire posts - you are deliberately lying by de-contextualizing… But I guess that’s a compliment - you’re treating my writing the same way your bible is treated…
Which, come to think of it, ought to insult me, filthy thing that is, but you aren’t capable of insulting me.
I’m not the left, and you’re in retreat… And if this be sedition, do something about it, you poor impotent loser.
BTW, have you ever worked for Civil Service? I bet not. And a wise man doesn’t accept the views of people with axes to grind. I have - my companion has - and I say you are full of shit. But just keep racing to the bottom… When you burn I’ll be laughing.

a) I don’t believe in the Bible.
b) I have read many comments like yours from today’s left bashing the troops. What next from you, 9/11 "Truth"? That wouldn’t surprise me.
c) I have worked for the civil service. In a way as a contractor, I still do. The waste, the inefficency, the obstinate mien… I could go on. I just came from a meeting with a bureaucrat trying to defend spending hundreds of dollars at expensive venues for retreats. Tonight’s not a good night to talk to me about the virtues of the civil service.
