Last week, at the request of radio host Bryan Suits, I posted a plea to help an Iraqi translator gain a work Visa to come to America. I had no idea that a simple request for help, a situation where I gain nothing, would generate a cynical post deriding my values and motivations.
The blog, EFFin’ Unsound, is basically a liberal blog designed to watch and report on Sound Politics and Evergreen Freedom Foundation. The author also notes that many smaller blogs are also unsound, so that must mean me.
I feel honored to join such distinguished company.

Many local rightie bloggers are upset about what’s happening to Iraqi translator/ friend of a semi-well known radio host, Alaa. And I sympathize.
Your compassion is underwhelming.

The science is in, and children are bad for the environment. You read it first here, although that post was made in jest - just as an extrapolation of what was likely to emerge from the growing religion of global warmalarmism. However, that shoe's not only been recently dropped - it's been flung across the room:
In his latest comments, the academic says that when couples are planning a family they should be encouraged to think about the environmental consequences.
"The decision to have children should be seen as a very big one and one that should take the environment into account," he added.
As well, Sea Shepherd founder and president Paul Watson published an editorial a couple of days ago in which he makes clear his view that mankind is a "virus" and that there are around 5.5 billion too many already on the planet. Curiously, his offer to leave first has apparently been omitted.
