Priorities of Government in Olympia

Try impeachment.

Earlier today, the State Senator (for the Extreme Left) Oemig rose on "a matter of personal privilege" to call for the "relieved of duty" - okay, impeachment - of President George W. Bush.  Arguably, those were sincere beliefs of his.  But frankly, after this week's uprising of violence (I need only cite Orbusmax.com's headline as I write this) and the dignified response of a gentleman I (wrongly) didn't vote for in two previous elections; I'm not going to dignify the extreme left with much more than a link to a website Josef and Janelle Taxpayer paid for if you want details and a link to the charade on taxpayer-subsidized TVW that starts at 32:05.  That said, a trusted source (that I checked via TVW) gave me the transcript of the Republican response from Senator Swecker which I can assure you was just as serious as State Senator Oemig made a fool of himself thinking he was a United States Senator.

FYI on V-Tech…

Published by SVC Alumnus under National, War on Terror

For once, I agree with the duly-… selected… CEO of Washington State Government.

Mrs. Gregoire,

asked all Washingtonians to observe one-minute of silence at 9:00 a.m. PDT (12:00 p.m. EDT) on Friday, April 20, 2007, in memory of the victims of the tragedy at Virginia Tech.

“As … the parent of a college student, my thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends who have lost loved ones, the students, faculty and staff at Virginia Tech who are in shock that something like this could happen on their campus, and the entire Commonwealth of Virginia, which I know is struggling to make sense out of this senseless act of violence,” said …Gregoire.

… Gregoire requests that, where appropriate, bells be tolled during this time of observance.

I have my own plan to commerate this… atrocity to honor one of heroes - if not the hero of the atrocity/Virginia Tech battle in the GWOT tomorrow at that time.  Stay tuned.
