Anthropogenesis of Global Warming?

More reports pour in, and they contradict eminent hysteric AlGore and his friends.  Study of the upper Indus basin over a forty year period demonstrate a reduction of mean summer temperatures of 1.2 degrees C, along with a 7% increase in snowpack per decade.   As well, a study of stable isotopic levels in the California current dating back 900 years indicates that an anomalous warm period occurred from roughly AD 1200 to 1450, which just happens to coincide with the Medieval Warm Period.  Indeed, these temperatures were above those noted today. 

They also report that "the period of positive anomalies in the low-frequency series of δ18O from N. dutertrei that continues from ~AD 1450 to ~1800 is consistent with the dates associated with the cooling and neoglaciation of the 'Little Ice Age' in both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres."

Whatever Became of Feminism?

Apparently, it died.  And what, exactly, seems to have killed it?  In a word: Muslims.  As recently as the 1990's, world bodies in Beijing and Vienna were pronouncing that women are entitled to the same basic human rights as their male counterparts.  It seems ludicrous to believe that anyone could ever have thought otherwise, but it must be remembered that even in the USA, women were not permitted to vote until the early part of the last century.  And having grown robustly during most of that century, along came the late 1990's - and the movement curled into a fetal position and died.

Somebody Gets It

While former veep AlGore flits around, telling us we're all gonna die, there's somebody from his home state of Tennessee who's actually working to resolve one of the big problems facing the USA today: banks who want to issue credit cards to illegal aliens.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., introduced legislation Monday that would prevent illegal immigrants from receiving credit cards from American financial institutions.

Nobody from Oregon gets it, but at least she does.  She's working to ensure that you can't get a Visa, without a visa.  Congratulations to her!

You Didn’t Kill It; Now I’m Suing

Unsurprisingly and sadly, it has come to this.  If you've been wondering why health-care costs are skyrocketing, you have folks like Raper to blame.  She had unprotected sex, got preggers, and opted to kill the child.  Except it didn't work out.  Darn, that little kid must have fought the suction tube away.  Raper ended up delivering a baby.  So now she's suing.  Its All Somebody Else's Fault.  The Raper woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl - who should be immediately removed from her loving mother's tender care.  Because Mommy wants her dead.
