Kitsap County Commissioner Case Will Go To Court
Orbusmax tips us today to an update at the Kitsap Business Journal about newly elected Kitsap County Commissioner Josh Brown. The Berkeley alum has two separate filings against him claiming that his residence in Bremerton was established to qualify for the election, but that he actually lived with his parents in Silverdale, another district altogether. The plot thickens as an out of county judge, hearing the case due to a recusal, sends the case forward.

Update: In spite of an apartment that only contains a futon and electricity usage par with a running refrigerator, the judge dismissed the residency case against Commissioner Josh Brown. Local Democrats are writing letters in the newspaper about this case being about Republicans being sore losers who couldn’t win at the ballot box so are trying to get in by hook or crook.
