Bogdanski posts a note on his blog regarding the first killing in downtown Portland, gets a few comments from total dorks branding him as "racist", and this makes it a matter of "news" to the big 0?  No wonder their circulation's tanked.  Whenever you blog something that's even a tiny bit controversial, you're going to have trolls coming in.  It's part and parcel of blogging.  Either you develop a thicker epidermal layer, or you get out of it.  In any case, it hardly qualifies as "news".

Oregon "Republican" Senator Gordon Smith has decided to oppose any addition of troops to Iraq.

Hmmm.

Let's see:  Doesn't want to win the war; approves a cut and run policy.

Doesn't want to build a fence along our Southern border.

Doesn't want to enforce our laws.

Does want amnesty for illegal aliens, so they can keep working in his pea-picking plant.

Supports increasing the minimum wage each year (hey, did you get such a large raise in your wage, this year?)

If you believe this guy's a Republican, you need to schedule a visit with your eye doctor, and as well consider whether hearing aids may be right for you.
