Being a member, I recently got a letter from Evergreen Freedom Foundation President Bob Williams requesting a donation to help them get a $50,000 matching fund.  Yesterday, I sent not a $25, not a $50 but a $60 donation.

Here's why: EFF is taking the good fight to the WEA for bullying teachers, to clean up our elections and to inform the public about the status of our public education system.  EFF staff and members like I also tipped off the media regarding the missing copier debacle in Skagit County - that county gov't tried to defend ineptly in the local newspaper, made a Skagit County blogger's post on Homeland Security Watch and Homeland Stupidity - and the ballot title blunder that helped down I-933.
