Unknown Person of Unknown Religion Denied His Civil Rights to Practice Freely
<sarcasm>Our pal Playing Possum has found another story about those Fascist Homeland Security people denying someone the right to practice their religion as they see fit. What kind of country do we live in where someone is no longer permitted to "commit violent acts of jihad"? If this is the new America under a Democratic Congress, I am moving to Canada.</sarcasm>
The Smoking Gun has the affidavit
DECEMBER 8–An Illinois man plotted to set off hand grenades at a Chicago-area shopping mall in a holiday season terror campaign that was thwarted by federal investigators. According to an FBI affidavit, Derrick Shareef, 22, told a confidential source that he wanted to "commit violent acts of jihad," and spoke of killing judges and blowing up public buildings. A copy of the affidavit can be found below. Shareef told the snitch that he sought "to disrupt Christmas," adding that, "I swear by Allah man, I'm down for it too, I'm down for the cause, I'm down to live for the cause and die for the cause, man." The document does not further describe the supposed cause of Shareef, who was named today in a federal felony complaint. Shareef is quoted telling the FBI source, "I probably would have eventually ended up stabbing the shit outta some Jews or something. Just stabbing them niggers with a steak knife…Because during that war with Hezbollah, man, I had already started to look at synagogues out here…I was doing MapQuest." In advance of a planned attack on a Rockford mall, Shareef prepared a martyr's videotape in which he let the "enemies of Islam" know that "the time for jihad is now." He added, "This is a warning to those who disbelieve, that we are here for you, and I am ready to give my life…May Allah protect me on this mission we conduct." Shareef was arrested Wednesday afternoon, moments after trading a set of stereo speakers for four nonfunctioning grenades provided to him by an undercover agent.

Since you choose to try to pass off rudeness and - dare I say - the underlying religious bigotry of a Malkin fan it sources from as sarcasm… I’ll give you what you deserve.
Please do move to Canada, fascist. Did you even read the affidavit? Or did you just repost someone else’s work - namely Malkin the hatemonger? Real original, old boy…

This kid - you can’t realistically call him anything else - had absolutely nothing going for him. He didn’t even have his own transportation - the narc had to drive him around… And goad him on, and provide the "weapons"…
We will find out in the next few days: The person you refer to as unnamed - who was in fact named, in my post and in the media - was either unemployed or menially employed, ill-educated, had a petty criminal record - my guess is drugs - for which he was on probation, (pg2) and was of sub-normal intelligence. He probably converted in the joint.
Way to go, America! Another black kid - unstated, but hardly a great leap - ruined by no opportunity and the penal system. Another throw-away citizen.
We will find out he had things in common with the 23 year-old waste of salt who just killed a King County deputy - someone who, at 23, had a ten-year criminal record. But unlike our local murderer , Shareef lacked even the means to get his hands on a gun without help. If Shareef had been a threat on his own, there would be a bombed mall already…
We see from the affidavit Shareef had all kinds of muddled ideas – stabbing Jews,(pg6) killing a judge and some courthouse workers,(pgs 2&3) hitting a public place (pgs 3&4)… His “plan” had all the reality of an opium dream – until the narc supplied substance and discipline.
He was STUPID enough to think he could trade stereo speakers for four grenades and a gun - but he didn’t even know how to work the grenades without step by step instruction from the narc, who set up the whole thing, right down to supplying chauffeur service.
Shareef was a poor angry fool. There are probably a couple of million just like him here in the US. This one shot off his mouth to the wrong people, who then spent how much? of our money building a case around someone who had motive but no means or opportunity until the narc supplied it.
Real Americans believe in innocent until proven guilty. Real Americans believe in the old system that valued little things like means and opportunity. Pack, fascist… But don’t bother with Canada, they wouldn’t have your kind. Why don’t you try Russia? Thugs are popular there…
Really, though, in one sense I’m glad of this. It exposes the excesses these pigs are willing to go to, and it exposes Islamophobes like you and Malkin.
But it also leaves us terribly vulnerable. While these fake cops are chasing retards, real terrorists - if in fact they exist - are getting away. Real terrorists wouldn’t make the kind of mistakes Shareef made. Real terrorists don’t need narcs to take mad talk and flesh it out into a "plan," supply transportation, weapons and the skill to use them, and probably a lot more we don’t know about. I bet the narc even supplied the video gear for the "last will & testament" - he probably ran the camera.
I’ll change one thing in my original post. All things considered, it probably is unlikely the fuzz know there are no terrorists left in the US. If this episode is indicative, they probably can’t find their own asses with both hands and a Sherpa to point the way… Which will turn out to be a good description of this kid.
Real terrorists aren’t going to be caught by these monkeys - any more than the same monkeys were able to catch Bin Laden and co…
