What Am I Thankful For - Washington State Edition
After reading Your tax dollars at work (II) at Sound Politics, I felt sufficiently inspired to write this blog post. After all, I am thankful for…
- A Washington State Auditor's Office serving as the inspectors of Washington State Government so we can hunt down wastrels like Sound Politics profiles and auctioned new copiers like the one Skagit County Government sold.
- A blogosphere doing and providing the folks with the ability not just to comment but create news - like this great blog!
- A Coalition for Open Government for Washington State (and hopefully soon Oregon and Idaho) that is keeping government transparent.
- An Evergreen Freedom Foundation being the upholders of the law when there are none, the reformers of public education for our future and the defenders of freedom for the folks "because freedom matters"!
- Living in a country where we have enough freedom to start our own business and blogs and enough opportunity to make something out of our own sweat and shoe leather!
